Also, if you don’t make it there for brunch their dinner is great too.

After Brunch stop in and grab a late lunch at Dish on the Market, which features some good ole’ southern food. Try out their Bourbon BBQ Dipping Sauce with your French fries and burger. For something casual and easy for lunch try out Puccini’s Smiling Teeth. They have gluten free options and one a variety of inventive and original pizzas. Try the Campfire or the Shrimp Santori Pizza.

So for dinner time, try something a little less traditional and check out some of Louisville’s international cuisine. Try a stop at Seviche: A Latin Restaurant. Chef Lamas uses sustainable seafood and local ingredients. Try the Ahi Tuna Tartar or the Churascos de Argentina. You can also try out Basa, which is a modern Vietnamese restaurant. Some favorite dishes are the Sauteed Basa with prawns or the Vietnamese Crepe. Finally, on your world tour try Dragon King’s Daughter. It is an Asian-fusion restaurant featuring everything from classic sushi to tacos and flatbreads.

No matter what eatery you choose while in town for the Kentucky Derby, your stomach will certainly be a winner with all the amazing cuisine that Louisville has to offer.
