Aqueduct Gotham Stakes Style; Over the Knee Boot

Step Out in Style at the Gotham Stakes in an Over the Knee Boot: The 2014 Gotham Stakes is set to take place at the Aqueduct Race Track in Queens, NY on Saturday, March 1, 2014. The race is an American Thoroughbred horse race for 3-year-olds and though it is running in early March, it still won’t quite feel like Spring. The predicted weather for Saturday, March 1st is a chilly 18 degrees, so make sure you stay warm with leather boots.

It is easy enough to throw on a dress and a coat to stay warm, but legs don’t always have to be bear in order to look fashion forward. The low ankle bootie is a style staple, but in order to stay warm and still look just as stylish try the over the knee boot to keep your legs covered up in the cold weather at Aqueduct. You might feel like the knee high boot is too daring, but when done properly they can actually have the just the right amount of subtle flash.

Pair them with a dress like the little black dress from Modcloth or a skirt with a flounce hem. Both will show the boots in a sweet way with the perfect amount of skin.
