Lexus Raven Run 2014 at Keeneland: The 2014 Lexus Raven Run will be held at Keeneland, this Saturday October 18th. It is a grade 2 race for 3-year-old fillies for a $250,000 purse. There are several events to enjoy at Keeneland on Lexus Raven Run day. Below you’ll find our breakdown on what to do, what to wear, and who to bet on in the 2014 Lexus Raven Run!

What to do at the 2014 Lexus Raven Run…

Arrive at the Keenland track early for Breakfast with the Works from 7:00 am-8:30 am, and enjoy breakfast trackside in the Equestrian Dining Room for $7 per person; kids three and under eat for free. There will be a trackside Show and Tell with Ferrier, Hans Albrecht. Children’s activities will also be available from 7:00 am-9:00 am in the Kids Club Corner. There will be photo ops in jockey silks, face painting, games, and Buckles the Kids Club mascot. This will be located adjacent to the Equestrian Dining Room. Walking tours will also take place from 8:00 am-10:30 am with a Paddock Demonstration at 8:45 am on saddling paddock. There will also be a handicapping seminar at 11:30 am and a jockey Q&A at 12:05pm with the jockeys in the Walking Ring. Reservations are not needed for any of these events and they will take place regardless of weather. The Craft Beer Tent will also be open from 11:00am-6:00PM where local craft beers will be available to taste. Tailgaters may also enjoy The Hill, where there will be a big screen TV to watch the races, a wagering tent, and local food trucks from 11:00 am-6:00 pm. The Hill will also feature the Best of Bluegrass. Music will begin at 5:00 pm and ends at 7:00 pm.
