Breeders’ Cup Travel; Top Five Cheap Places to Eat near Santa Anita Park: When traveling to Santa Anita Park in California to partake in all of the 2014 Breeders’ Cup festivities, you will definitely want to check out local spots to eat. Santa Anita Park certainly boasts some fine dining and fun food trucks, but there are plenty of local hot spots as well.

Try out the Tornado Potato Truck. You can bring the whole family out to try this fun food truck that features a one of a kind spiral-cut potato. The potato is fried like the perfect large French fry serve spiraled and on a stick.

For healthy fare, try the Bean Sprout Café. It features a great vegetarian menu that packs a lot of flavor. They also feature vegan entrees as well as gluten-free, dairy-free, csein-free, nut-free, and egg-free.

The third spot to try is In-N-Out Burger. This is a popular chain that features the all American traditional burger and fries combo. It is native to California and a must try spot for anyone who is visting California for the first time. It is also a celebrity favorite.

Poke Poke is another great local place to try out. It has a cool surfer vibe and features different kinds of Poke, or seasoned Ahi as the dominant thing on the menu. Walk up to the window and order a fresh Poke bowl.

Also check out Stacked Sandwich, which is a deli that features, sandwiches, burgers, salads , and bread. Try out the Black Dog Saloon and the chili cheese fries.

All of these places offer fair prices and great food and they are all located at less than a mile from the Santa Anita Park.
