What to wear to the 2015 Coolmore Lexington Stakes…

The Coolmore Lexington Stakes and other events at Keeneland provide the perfect opportunity to feature one of this year’s biggest trends, culottes. These wide-legged pants are surprisingly wearable. Although pants may not be traditional race day attire, culottes lend a dressier vibe to your look since they almost mimic a skirt. Try a pair of flattering Michael Stars culottes in either black or white. If you are intimidated by the culottes trend, then try a pair of Rebecca Taylor culottes that have great movement and read more like a flowy skirt.

Pair your culottes with a fitted sweater or crop top. You can also wear a regular shirt, but make sure it is tucked in so that your waist is highlighted to balance the volume of the culottes.

Pair your culotte look with a midi heel and a great fascinator from Fashion at the Races and you will look chic and every bit as glamorous as if you were wearing a dress at the 2015 Coolmore Lexington Stakes at Keeneland!
