Bing Crosby Offers 2015 Breeders’ Cup Sprint Entry: The Bing Crosby Stakes will run on Sunday, July 26, 2015. Held at Del Mar Race Track, the Bing Crosby is a Grade I event offering a $300,000 purse for three-year-olds and up willing to race over a distance of six furlongs. The Bing Crosby is a Breeders’ Cup “Win and You’re In” Challenge race, awarding it’s winner with an automatic entry into the Breeders’ Cup Sprint on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Keeneland.

On Bing Crosby day, Del Mar will offer a handicapping challenge. This special handicapping event that begins Saturday is a live bankroll challenge providing more than $200,000 in prizes, and there will be up to ten seats up for grabs for the 2015 $2 million National Handicapping Challenge and Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge entries. First place wins $60,000 in cash, $10,000 for full BCBC entry, an NHC Spot, and 100% of the prize pool. Contact Del Mar now to get a spot saved on the waiting list.

Del Mar also features Day Break at Del Mar where track guests can enjoy breakfast while watching the morning workouts. Breakfast will be served in the Clubhouse Terrace Restaurant from 7:30 until 9:30 where guests can watch the morning workouts and eat in the open air while being provided with behind-the-scenes information from Jeff Bloom, a former jockey and event announcer. Guests will also be able to ask Jeff Bloom questions and get racing tips.

Parking is off the main lot, but guests can enter through the Clubhouse entrance to the second floor. The parking fee is $10 plus the cost of breakfast, but the actual event is free. If guests spend $25 or more at breakfast, then the parking price will be deducted off the price of the bill.

Del Mar also offers family weekends every Saturday and Sunday. Children enter for free, and adult admission is only $6. The featured activities on family weekend include free pony rides, inflatable games and rides, a magic show, a game zone, jockey stilt walkers, a giant Scramble Slide, an obstacle course, the Del Mar Mascot “Pony Boy,” face painters, and a caricature artist.

With the handicapping contest, family fun and Breeders’ Cup “Win and You’re In” challenge race, Del Mar is the place to be on Sunday with friends and family!
