Purple Pedicures for I’ll Have Another

To show support for All Have Another’s chance at the Triple Crown, Facebook fans are flocking to the I’ll Have Another Pedicure fan page and posting pictures of their purple piggies. I’ll Have Another is a contender in the Belmont Stakes scheduled for Saturday June 9, 2012 and also the winner of the 2012 Kentucky Derby and the 2012 Preakness.

For every pedicure picture posted on the I’ll Have Another Pedicure fan page, $20 will be donated to Thoroughbred Charities of America. The painted piggies must be painted purple, the color of the owner’s silks, to show support for I’ll Have Another’s shot at the Triple Crown. I’ll Have Another’s owners Paul and Zillah Reddam, team O’Neill, and Jockey Mario Gutierrez decided to donate $20 for each photo because it’s roughly what a pedicure would cost. There are currently 241 “likes” on the fan page but not as many purple pedicure pictures posted. You must post your purple pedicure picture before 12:00 midnight on Saturday June 9, 2012.
