CashCall Futurity 2012 Early Entries

The 2012 CashCall Futurity contender list will be finalized over the next couple of days. Experts seem to think the 1 1/16 mile synthetic race at Betfair Hollywood Park will be a sure shot for trainer Bob Baffert and his four possible entries. I’m no expert, but my heart is set on He’s Had Enough.

There are currently fourteen early entries in the 2012 CashCall Futurity. Hall of fame trainer Bob Baffert entered Title Contender, Carving, Really Mr. Greely, and Den’s Legacy. For Mr. Bob Baffert’s sake, I hope one of his horses at least places. Watching the hall of fame trainer over the past couple of years, I’ve sensed a bit of desperation in his demeanor. We all know that horses with heart place first, not desperation. Bob Baffert needs to drink a stiff whiskey and relax. After all, Bob Baffert’s horses have won three out of the past four CashCalls. He’s got a good chance of winning the $750,000 2012 CashCall Futurity.

Another news worthy early entry is Doug O’Neill’s He’s Had Enough. I’m really feeling this horse for some reason. Not only am I a Doug O’Neill fan but He’s Had Enough placed second in the 2012 Breeder’s Cup Juvenile. Have you seen He’s Had Enough? He’s beautiful Tapit colt! I’m a sucker for good-looking grey/white horses such as Hansen and He’s Had Enough.

The 2012 CashCall Futurity takes place Saturday December 15, 2012. Gates at Betfair Hollywood Park open at 10:00. First post is at 12:30 PM PST.
