CashCall Futurity 2012: Violence

The 2012 CashCall Futurity takes place this Saturday, December 15, at Hollywood Park. The $750,000 Grade 1 stakes race is run over 1 1/16 Mile cushioned track and will host eleven two-year-old thoroughbreds. Violence will break from the starting gate in post position number 6.

Violence is trained by Todd Pletcher and will be jockeyed by Javier Castellano during the 2012 Cash Call Futurity. The colt is owned by Black Rock Stables in New York. Violence recently dominated the track at Aqueduct on November 4, 2012 during the Nashua Stakes.

Experts are sketchy about Violence’s possible performance at the 2012 CashCall. They claim horses that ran with Violence in the Nashua Stakes have returned and finished poorly. Others say that Violence is the “wild card” and expect him to finish first cleanly. Violence has never raced on a synthetic track before so the outcome of the CashCall is uncertain for him.

Like I said in a previous post, I believe Javier Castellano and Todd Pletcher have worked very hard to ensure an easy breezy win with Violence. I’m feeling good things from this beautiful horse! Lady and The Track would like to wish Violence, Todd Pletcher, Javier Castellano, and Black Rock Stables the best of luck during the 2012 CashCall Futurity.
