Sham Stakes 2013 Odds Post Positions
The 2013 Sham Stakes takes place this Saturday at Santa Anita Park. There are six official entries in the $100,000 Sham, two of them belonging to trainer Doug O’Neill, another two entered by Bob Baffert.
Experts predict that Doug O’Neill’s Goldencents will win the 2013 Sham Stakes. I’m no expert but I have to admit I like Doug O’Neill’s other entry Greeley Awesome. Mario Gutierrez is in the saddle atop of Greeley Awesome for the Sham, which makes me think the duo has a real shot at placing first. Goldencents definitely is going to be the favorite but I think Greely Awesome will at least place.
Bob Baffert is at it again with Den’s Legacy and Manando. Experts suggest that Den’s Legacy is going to start with a crazy fast pace and catch up to Goldencents early on in the 2013 Sham Stakes. Hopefully Mr. Bob Baffert takes my friendly advice this weekend to ensure a more favorable outcome for himself.
Another team that I’m feeling is Dirty Swagg. For very shallow reasons I must add. The name “Dirty Swagg” is hilarious! Dirty Swagg’s jockey Tyler Blaze is also very good looking. They are my fun party bet.
The 2013 Sham Stakes is set for Saturday January 5 at Santa Anita Park with a 4:31 PM EST post time. Lady and The Track would like to wish Goldencents, Greeley Awesome, Doug O’Neill, Den’s Legacy, Manando, Bob Baffert, Dirty Swagg, Tyler Blaze, and Mario Gutierrez the best of luck during the 2013 Sham Stakes.
