Sham Stakes 2013 Odds and Predictions

The 2013 Sham Stakes takes place tomorrow Saturday January 5 at Santa Anita Park. The race is on a one-mile dirt track with two turns. There are six official entries in the $100,000 one-mile Sham for three-year-olds. Odds were just released placing Goldencents as the favorite with 4-5 odds.

The experts would definitely tell you to go with Goldencents. Den’s Legacy is also a favorite pick and could possibly take the win if Goldencents has a bad start. I’m going with my gut here and picking Greeley Awesome. Greeley Awesome may not finish first but I’m feeling something good with this long shot. If you’re a fan of Lady and The Track you’ll know that I always bet with my heart, and never my lover’s money. It’s simply bad luck!
