What to do at Prairie Meadows for the 2014 Juvenile Mile…
After the 2014 Prairie Meadows Juvenile Mile enjoy some late night fun at the Finish Line Show Lounge. At 10:00 PM they will be featuring a classic rock band from Knoxville, Iowa. The band will feature a variety of classic rock covers including Lynard Skynard and the Eagles.
The Praire Meadows grounds also include the first combination racing facility and slot machine casino. You can play the slots or a game of black jack or craps or roulette tables. The casino is open 24 hours a day so you can have fun until the wee hours of the morning or if you don’t want to be worried about being too tired to get home then book a room at the Prairie Meadows hotel, which is on the grounds as well. The hotel has an indoor salt water pool, fitness center and a shuttle upon request.
If you are looking for a bite to eat, Prairie Meadows has plenty to offer in that area as well! For a great sit down meal try AJ’s Steakhouse for American cuisine. For a more relaxed quicker bite to eat, try the Triple Crown Eatery for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner. If you want breakfast or a light lunch on Sunday after the race day, then try Café at the Meadows. There are also three cocktail bars in the casino for a fun grown up atmosphere.

Since the Prairie Meadows is mostly a nighttime event, why not try something leather. This season, leather was featured in the summer time.
