Horse Racing News in Photos; Wise Dan, Stonetastic, Sunset Glow, and More: This final weekend of August brought tears of joy and happiness with the triumphant return of two-time horse of the year Wise Dan. We also watched Sunset Glow and jockey Victor Espinoza win the Del Mar Debutante, Itsmyluckyday dueled with Moreno in the 2014 Woodward Stakes and crossed the finish line first with Paco Lopez, Palace won the G1 Forego earning a position in the 2014 Breeders’ Cup starting gate, Blue Tone brought it home in the Harry F. Brubaker Stakes, and the beautifully talented Stonetastic demolished her three-year-old competitors in the Prioress by 8 1/2 lengths!

After surviving a five-minute inquiry, Itsmyluckyday and jockey Paco Lopez won the G1 Woodward Stakes on Saturday, August 30, 2014 for trainer Eddie Plesa, Jr. and owner Laurie Pleasa and Trilogy Stables.
