This year’s edition holds six tough fillies and mares, two of which have Breeders’ Cup experience on their resume already. Who to bet on in the 2014 Juddmonte Spinster Stakes:
Race 9 5:45 PM ET
1 Ria Antonia 10-1 Lopez/Amoss
2 Close Hatches 3-5 Rosario/Mott
3 Got Lucky 15-1 Napravnik/Pletcher
4 Shuruq 5-1 Leparoux/Suroor
5 Don’t Tell Sophia 9-2 Rocco, Jr./Sims
6 Molly Morgan 5-1 Lanerie/Romans
Picks: Close Hatches is our top pick but only because Trixie is in love with her. Close Hatches is a talented filly and we’d like to see her win the Breeders’ Cup Distaff but she’s got her work cut out for her with rivals such as Don’t Tell Sophia.
