As summer and the summer racing season come to a close, it is the perfect time to bring out your most fashionable summer-to-fall transition pieces. This late in the summer season it may not feel quite right to bring out summer staples like eyelet or all white, but it still isn’t quite time to go full-on in a fall trend. The perfect transition piece is cornflower blue in a crisp menswear piece. The color is still light and summery enough, but it is also a classic all-season staple. Wearing the color in menswear-inspired style gives the perfect nod to fall as well. Try a simple button-up oxford shirt or even wear the color head to toe in a structured dress. The color mimics denim and chambray but is not quite as heavy.

Your cornflower blue look is the perfect way to celebrate a great day at Del Mar for the 2015 TVG Pacific Classic and to transition your style from summer into fall.
