Fair Grounds Lecomte Stakes 2015 Odds & Events: The 2015 Lecomte Stakes takes place at the Fair Grounds Race Course in New Orleans on Saturday, January 17th. The Lecomte Stakes will award it’s first place finisher ten points on the 2015 Road to the Kentucky Derby. What to do at the 2015 Lecomte Stakes at Fair Grounds…

Post time for the Lecomte Stakes is set for 5:24 PM, which gives you plenty of time to explore Fair Grounds and take in some of the track perks. The Road to the Derby Celebration at Fair Grounds is presented by Hotel Monteleone and it is held at 1:25 PM CT. Tickets can be purchased online for $5 per adult and children 12-year-old and under are free. The event will be held at the Starlight Tent. There is also a new member deal at the casino. New members receive $20 in free slot play and receive $5 in free slot play every week for your first for weeks of play. Admission to the track is free daily. Clubhouse admission is $10 daily. If you’d like to enjoy the race from the Clubhouse then you should also try out the Clubhouse Dining Room. Reservations are strongly recommended and are accepted by telephone at (504) 943-2200. There is a dress code with no shorts, t-shirts, or sandals permitted. If you want something more casual, you can try one of the Slots Eateries with “grab-and-go” type eateries such as the DeSaix Deli and Gentilly Grill. There are also concession stands featuring a variety of New Orleans cuisine.
