What to wear to the 2015 Jerome Stakes…
The 2015 Jerome Stakes is one of the first races of the New Year, so step out in style wearing Pantone’s color of the year. For 2015, Pantone has named Marsala the color of the year. It is like a more earthy and muted burgundy. You can choose to wear solid Marasla or just Marsala as a part of your print. Some great options are a floral long sleeve dress with Marsala background. For head to toe Marsala, try a textured lace dress. For a sleek and sexy look try a sheath dress in Marsala or a lace overlay dress. Marsala pairs really well with cream like a dress that features a sheer marsala tulle layered over an textured embroidered cream. Marsala also pairs well with deeper reds like burgundy, wine, and even purple red mixes like berry. Try a topper in complementary colors to complete your outfit, like a great wine-berry beret. With temperatures in the mid-forties, be sure to add a classy coat and tights to your Jerome Stakes look to keep you warm.
You will be ready for the New Year and ready to enjoy everything Aqueduct and the 2015 Jerome Stakes has to offer in the sophisticated and earthy Pantone color of the year, Marsala!
